President's Welcome 2017
President’s Welcome Hello Everyone, Let me introduce myself, I am Dwayne Sayers and I am your Club President again for the 2017 season. I have the honour of being a life member of the club which I have been involved with for well over 20 years.
We have assembled another strong team of volunteers on our Executive Committee and a vastly experienced Football Operations Department, headed by Paul Shorter, that oversees the running of your football club and I look forward to working with them all to see the growth of our great club continue.
2017 will see our club move into its second year back in the Football Brisbane competition. As a club We well and truly over achieved in 2016, thanks to the efforts of all coaches, managers and club management
Over the last 5 – 8 years we, as a club, have lost many of our talented youth players to Brisbane clubs because of the bigger range of competitions and also that many of the clubs are closer to Caboolture now as the Moreton Bay region population explodes, hence moving closer than ever to Caboolture.
This trend is now in reverse, with local players now having the option of playing in a large successful club at Caboolture, playing within the Football Brisbane competition
Player development is a huge factor as we move forward and retaining the players we develop is important as they move into our senior men and women ranks.
Although, saying that, it brings us great pride when we can develop players that move on to play in the National Premier League or the “A” league is an understatement.
As you may have seen by now, your club will be in a complete new playing strip in 2017 From under 6 to seniors, this is a very exciting time, we have completed a deal with sports giant UMBRO to completely deck out the players. Please refer to website for more information
2017 will also see the commencement of construction of our own state of the art, multimillion dollar soccer / football facility at Moreton Bay Regional Sports Park. We envisage that the facility will be ready to go for 2019 season, hopefully sooner if we have some luck. Please keep an eye on our website for all updates as they come to hand.
For all of you that have been involved in our great club in the past, how good will it be to be able to have our own facility there for us to use 12 months of the year.
We have the ability to become a powerful club in Football Brisbane and with the talented children in our area now being able to express their skills to all the Brisbane clubs.
The volunteers of your club play a huge role behind the scenes. Please remember they all have job’s and run businesses themselves, yet still make time to help out. If you think you can spare some time each week we are always looking for help, so please don't hesitate to contact me or someone within the committee.
Please respect all our volunteers, from administration to canteen staff, coaches and managers. Please respect our ground officials as well, if they give a directive please adhere to it.
The progression of our mini roo age groups continues to improve with the players showing skills beyond their age and all the kids having a good time. I still enjoy walking around the small sided fields on a Saturday morning and watch the enjoyment not only from the kids, but their mums, dads, grandparents and friends.
A huge thanks once again for the continued support of the Caboolture Sports Club, Amart Sports, Umbro and our many local sponsors. Please support all these local businesses where possible, as without their support we could not do half the projects we undertake. You will see them advertised on our website and banners flying at the ground on home games.

A Massive thank you to Yvonne Packbier from MMM Photography who spends hours upon hours every weekend taking photos of our players, coaches, managers, events etc etc. She works tirelessly around the clock taking photos and producing them, so we can all enjoy and capture the memorable moments. On behalf of the whole club and community I thank you dearly for all your hard work.
