Senior Women's new Coach is Andre Spnovic

The club is pleased to announce the appointment of Andre Spnovic as head coach of the senior women's team for 2016.

Andre brings almost 40 years of experience to the role, most of those being as a player but in more recent times as a coach. With experience as a men's premier league player / coach, Andre more recently has led a 35A mens' side to consecutive minor premierships (2013, 2014) as well as coached a junior first division girl's side (2014).

Andre is looking forward to the challenge of applying his playing and coaching experience to the Caboolture Sports Premier Women's side with a view to building a team to challenge for Capital 1 honours and ultimately win promotion to the Brisbane Women's Premier League.

"As the head of women's football at the club with 3 daughters of my own each of whom also play the beautiful game, I am passionate about creating a culture and environment at the club for all girls to fulfil their potential and play football at the highest level".

"Our goal is simple: to develop a team that ultimately wins promotion to the BWPL and provides our junior female talent with a pathway to play football in the premier women's competition in Brisbane".

Having received confirmation that the Sunshine Coast Football and Club Ladies Player of the Year Stef Mayhew has committed to playing for our Club, Andre believes he has the talent and experience at his disposal to build a competitive side.

As part of the senior women's coaching team, Andre will also be assisted by last year's coach of the premier women's team (Tup Mayhew) as well as Bart Stokes and Andrew Aranovitch.

"I am extremely fortunate to have as part of the senior women's coaching team 3 people who share my passion for women's football and a desire to take women's football at the club to the top level".
