The Caboolture Sports Football Club started the conversation about respect in sport and how actions can influence your future; #MyChoiceMyFuture.
The Football Club was successful in securing the Queensland Government ‘Not Now, Not Ever Challenge’ grant and as result delivered a presentation night for their Junior (U12-16) players.
A large crowd of about 300 club members turned up consisting of junior players, coaches, parents and care-givers, as well as executive management and senior players.
Interactive presentations were delivered by the Caboolture Police, in collaboration with the Centre against Domestic Abuse and the University of the Sunshine Coast. The message was about respect, making the right choices and where to seek help.
A video made by the Club was launched, new hats and wristbands with #MyChoiceMyFuture were handed out and all enjoyed a sausage sizzle with an opportunity to have a chat at the end.
