Congratulations to Emily Spnovic, Hannah Spnovic and Amali Kinsella who recently returned from the QLD u12 state soccer championships held at Stanthorpe.
Although their Sunshine Coast representative team did not make the finals, the competition was extremely tight. The top 3 teams over the 4 day tournament came from the same pool as our girls.
The Sunshine Coast team only lost two games by the odd goal and in arguably their best game of the tournament, drew 1-1 with the other top team (Northern - Townsville).
Amali Kinsella scored the goal of the tournament in that game.
With 3 out of the 14 girl squad coming from Caboolture Sports FC, the future of female football at our club is looking very bright.
Well done again girls and congratulations.
